I would definitely recommend AV moving for your moving needs. Salesman was responsive and worked with us to schedule the moving date and provided us all the information we needed up front, unlike another company that I called. On moving day, they called to let us know they were almost there and went quickly to work, staying friendly and chatting with us the entire time despite the brutal temperature. They got the job done in four hours, which was faster than I expected and even offered to setup and place furniture, even though they didn't need to. Needless to say, we left a generous tip and were grateful that they made the process as painless as it could be.

The guys from AV Moving turned up late but not their fault, they timely left for our house but traffic was awful. We can only say that these guys are the best, really great people and did an excellent job, nothing was too much trouble. Very professional, they worked very fast and got the job done before the agreed time. The quoted price was very competitive; they provided dismantle and reassemble in with the price and also packing materials. When we got to our new home, they were just as professional putting boxes and furniture in the right place. There was no damage to any of our belongings. We would definitely recommend this company. Well done guys!

I've moved 4 times in the past year, most of the time with different companies but I just had the greatest move on the last week with AV Moving. They gave us a very accurate estimate over the phone and help us plan our move. Soon their long dispatcher called us and confirmed the job and went over the details. Thank god they came with extra boxes and moving supplies and actually that we didn't even realize we will be needed! This was a painless move and really had a great time with the movers.

I recently moved with AV Moving from Trenton, NJ to Memphis, TN and was very happy with my move thanks to them. I first spoke with their rep who answered all my questions and got the process started. The visit was very quick and we got a clear cut quotation. Were happy with the price as it was very much affordable! The movers were very clean and extra careful. The packing was so good and they loaded everything very safely. Got help with all the forms from their agent and shortly after everything arrived at my new place in perfect condition. Over all we were pleased with the service and will not hesitate to recommend them.

Recently I have moved to VA from NY. I used AV Moving for the move because they offered me the best price and did not ask for advance payment. The sales rep took all necessary initiatives to execute the move perfectly. The team of arrived on time, they came well prepared. They had a specific plan for my move which was executed perfectly by them. Though they had to deal with so many things and where they had to encounter plenty of fragile items and heavy furniture but still the movers did not panic for a second. They kept their cool, stayed focused and always kept an eye on the deadline. As a result I got a picture perfect move within my budget and within the schedule.

Worst moving company ever.. If I could do less than one star I would, if I could give negative stars I would. We moved cross country and haven't gotten our things and it's 12 days after the date they were supposed to drop it off. No one picks up the phone anywhere but when I called from a different number they picked it up because they thought I was a new customer and maybe someone else they could scam. No one is helpful what so ever and literally told us that they "have no idea where your things are" or when they will be delivered which is pretty alarming considering the valuables they have. Me and my husband have to sit and call every number they have repeatedly for someone to even pick up and then they don't have any answers for where our things are or when they will be delivered. This company either has no regard for their customers or they have no idea what they are doing, I think it's both. My husband has been told by a representative, "Barbara" if that is her name that she doesn't have time to speak to him on the phone, and that she has other work to do when it is her job to help us get our things!! My brother does cross country trucking and it is never delayed 2 weeks unless this company is a scam and just took our things. They had no problem picking it up and getting our money but when it's time to deliver they don't even know where our things are. I would never in a million years recommend this company to anyone. They are a little cheaper but a lot [EDIT], I have no idea how they have good reviews on here, as one other person stated they must have either had family members do it or did it themselves. I recommend to go with well known companies not some random company from new jersey. They'll call you for your money and things but won't deliver, now im stuck without my things in my new apartment. They are very unprofessional since they won't even pick up their company phone and I have to call random numbers in the company to get any update about my belongings, which I have yet to get. It's crazy that they even call themselves a company, their license should be revoked. If you are considered this company because they are slightly cheaper I urge you not to, I would rather pay more to have my things safely and efficiently shipped instead of not being able to get updates about my things whatsoever. They said our things were delayed bc the truck broke down and the driver got the wrong part, why wouldn't they bring it to a mechanic or have someone on the truck that actually knows what they are doing. Once again, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY MOVE WHATSOEVER, THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AND DON'T KNOW HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS.  .

BEWARE. These guys are cheaters and fly by the night outfit. I had them come out the house to do the estimate and after they came to pick up the stuff, they increased the price by 60%. I was quoted 1100 cubic feet during in home estimate and when they loaded the stuff, the loader said it came out to 1600 cubic feet. What is the purpose if in home estimate then? Then during the delivery, all my stuff fit in 1200 cubic feet. I had the delivery guy on video confirming that everything fit less than 1200 cubic feet. Tried to call and email them with video of the delivery guy's statement but these cheaters never called back. On top of that, I lost couple of my boxes and delivered someone else sofa set. Never ever hire these scumbags..

Please spare yourself the frustration and stress of using this company!!  Not only is their customer service awful, but they were contracted my business from Magic Touch Movers (see my review for them as well) and they increased the price per square foot I was "contracted for in writing" through Magic.  I attempted several contacts to get this corrected as I had paperwork that stated I was only to be charged $3.25/sq foot and they refused to honor it.  In fact, what they did was threaten to leave my things in storage at a rate of $300/month until I paid their increase. In addition, Tim the pick up driver, called and asked that I have my family meet him at a different time so "HE" and "HIS"schedule could be accommodated. My family made these arrangements possible and Tim left my brother and 2 children under the age of 5 to sit there and wait for over an hour. Of course, no apology. From there, I had to ask for a copy of the inventory list on 3 occasions and was continually told it was emailed.  I didn't receive it until the day before my delivery. Unacceptable.  Repeated phone calls to Vernia and Mary, resulted in nothing but promises to handle the issues I was having, but I never heard back from either of them.  Once my things arrived, the inventory was short and damaged.  They have lost/stolen 5 boxes, 2 tables, 2 wooden-large candle holders and a bed frame. They also damaged a fan to where it's not even usable anymore and they crushed a lamp and lamp shade that was packed by THEM. I can only imagine how trying to get this refunded will go! Don't waste your time, efforts or money.  You and your belongings will be treated terribly even after you have done them favors to make things easier for them!!        .

Worst moving experience ever!  I told the salesperson we wanted an accurate total price so the company sent a person to our house to do the estimate.  I showed him everything that needs to be moved.  We were quoted at $5,800 for 2050 cubic feet, including $1,000 insurance.  On the day of packing, after everything was loaded to the two trucks, we were told they got 3000 cubic feet and the price should be $9,000.  That was more than 60% jump excluding insurance.  We were also told that we had to pay the rest of $9,000 in cash when they arrived at our new house; otherwise they would not unload.  This was no different than a robbery.  I wanted to talk to the salesperson but he could not be reached.

I found this moving company after doing online research and it was near where I was living at the time. I made a horrible mistake using them for my move. I moved from PA to AZ and besides politeness on the phone I cannot think of one thing this company got right. Moving my stuff out of my old house was a tolerable experience but some of my stuff got broken and I ended up getting charged more than what was initially agreed (based on a verbal estimate which I know is not exact). But from here on out was the major problem. I had this company pick up my stuff 10 days in advance of me actually moving so I would not be in Arizona as long without my stuff. Turns out that was a mistake because I was living there without any of my stuff for 3 1/2 weeks! I had to live with a family friend for this entire time because I did not have a bed or any other stuff for my new apt. This means I paid 1 months rent without even living there b/c my stuff had not shown up. What is worse is that, even though they were always polite, they would keep lying to me about delivery dates and then when those dates passed by they would give me a clearly fake excuse for why my stuff is still not here. After 3 weeks I just wanted to know where my stuff was located and they could not tell me! I understand there are logistical issues with long distance moves but this was ridiculous. This is the service this company provides and they are not good at providing it. When my stuff finally showed up they only sent 1 guy to move all my stuff in. They also lost my box spring for my bed and broke a few glasses/picture frames. I filed a claim but that is pending so we will see if they have any decency in them to reimburse me for my missing/broken things.

do not use this company, especially for long distance moves. they are a joke.

WARNING: AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!I had the worst customer experience of my life with this company. Less than a week before my move, I contacted the company to confirm everything, only to have them add extra surcharges that they "forgot" to include on my estimate. Their website clearly says "No hidden fees". Blatant lies!! This was a fuel surcharge although my estimate clearly states gas and tolls included. I had asked to speak to a supervisor, day after day, Monday through Thursday, at various times of the day and was informed there was no one there today. I had to cancel the services as it turns out my representative LIED to me about my delivery date and I was NOT going to be receiving my belongings in a timely manner. Awful customer service with all those involved, what type of company has no managers or supervisors available during normal business hours, on business days, for multiple days in a row. I contacted them to receive a partial refund as I had to cancel my move because of their dishonesty, but was not even given the courtesy of a response. STAY  AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! ALL OF THEIR REVIEWS ARE WRITTEN BY THEIR STAFF WHO ARE BUSY WRITING REVIEWS AND CANNOT BE PROPERLY TRAINED.

DO NOT CONSIDER USING THEM IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!! Before closing the deal with them I made sure to have all my questions answered from nicole and other employees and here are the reasons why you should never hire them. Note that I have all documented including phone calls recordings.My horrible experience begins at the pickup date. They used a 3rd party company and employees with a rental truck. nicole clearly stated that they had their own trucks at all times. The first thing the driver asks me (using another moving company uniform called atlas) is if I was going to tip them well. I felt threatened that if I didn't he would not take a good care of my belongings and also make sure to place them in the truck in a way that he would be able to charge me for extra space which he did. AT the end he was just a 3rd party company so why care?!They promised me to deliver within 14 days of the pickup date and they took almost 5 weeks. I knew that by law they have 21 days from the first available delivery date to deliver and I told them I needed my belongings way before and they gave me a verbal promise saying okay for the 2 weeks delivery. Clearly their promises were given just to convince me to choose their company. I called Nicole several times to ask why it was delayed and her answer was always the same: I need to check with my "operations manager david"which is not in the office. And she would never reply or call me back. The funny thing is that during the quotation process her "operations manager david" was always available on a "desk next to her"to clarify questions about hiring them. I've tried speaking with another employee called andrew and his answer was: I need to locate the truck driver and I never heard back from him. With no more choice I had to just sit and wait.On the delivery date another 3rd party company comes in and before opening the truck the first thing the driver says is that he was going to charge me extra money for not being able to come in with the truck that made the cross country (18 wheeler) and for having to use another truck for delivery (shuttle). I shut his mouth when I showed another 18 wheeler truck parked inside of the community I live. oooops! He probably thought I had no knowledge and didn't do my studies. Plus I told nicole before closing the deal that a 18 wheeler would fit at the destination.The moment he opens the truck and starts unloading my boxes I see another disaster! All my boxes are everywhere in the truck. A lot of them smashed and ripped off with broken items, my exercise bike is not properly covered with a mat and is broken and a few items are missing. Another nightmare begins when I contact AV moving to claim for the insurance. Barbara gives me a web link to file for the insurance claim and tells me that this company called CSI would handle the claim. I proceed filling for the insurance claim on July 29th. with a hope that it was going to get resolved soon. Today is September 29th and nothing has happened. I emailed the insurance company a few times and no response. I emailed Barbara from AV moving and her response is that I needed to contact the insurance company.From this point on I will do whatever I can to make sure I share this terrible experience I had with this company on every online source I can possibly find. Don't trust any of this people Nicole, Barbara, Andrew, Mary, David. P.S. If you google map them you will see that their 2 addresses is a empty lot and a house. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!
